Advance your knowledge

Well, in response to my last blog...the "big question" was answered. Unfortunately, it was a no go this time. It's heartbreaking...but we both know it'll happen one day.

Anyways, here is my latest find. I think I blogged about this before, but I can't resist blogging about it again.

If you are military, this will apply to you...if you aren't....so sorry! (LOL)

**Militaryonesource has some amazing book deals. To this day I have no 'ordered' approximately 15 books. And I haven't paid a dime for them. They have a decent selection....there are fiction and nonfiction...self-help....the basics. There are interview guides and resume guides.

Anyways, like I said, if you are military....check it out!!!

The Big Question

I'm quite possibly getting ahead of myself here, but....I'm about to burst with excitement. I have about 4 days left of wondering before I should now the answer.

My husband and I both think I might be pregnant (yea!!!) We've been trying all year to get pregnant and are so tired of the disappointment that keeps coming, month after month. We sort of decided to quit getting our hopes up after this month. Because this time we did the whole "when you're not trying it'll happen thing" as well as the mentality of "everything happens for a reason".

Obviously because we know our situation, we know what is envolved with our mindset of "everything happens for a reason" and right now seems so perfect for that to be true.

All last week I fought a queasy stomach. So much to the point that while trying to menu plan my stomach would turn with each recipe that I came across (the pictures that is) AND (worst of all) I had to pass up my opportunity to bond with a baby after he started spitting up because I was burying my face in my arm to keep from puking on him :( That was horrible!

Anyways, fingers crossed!!! This will make baby number 3 in our house...but I think we'll be just fine. We want this baby so badly it's unreal. I'm suppose to start next Monday-ish, so by Thursday or so I'm going to take a test. I just pray this isn't another disappointment. Of the few times that I suspected I MIGHT be pregnant this year, I have never really felt pregnant. It was minor things that made me contemplate the idea being true. This month is completely different....my hormones are already off the wall, then the whole stomach thing, not to mention my boobs (...wow! we won't even go there), and the absolute craving for sleep!!!!

I know with my other pregnancies (including my miscarriage) I knew/suspected I was pregnant FAST!!! If it wasn't a queasy stomach, it was either hormones going nuts or becoming brick wall tired. So hopefully that's what this is too! I am SOOOO very praying it is. I will be on Cloud 9 if I am--queasy or not! Lol!!

Over my head much?

I'm going to be completely honest here....I am drowning with anticipation and fear! LOL. I want to do this coupon thing, very badly, but there is SOOO much out there. Right now Amber is like my right arm...if she hadn't given me so many pointers I would have been WAYYY more lost! (TY Amber!!)

I'm trying to take a few of my friends suggestions and meal plan. You would think as a mother of two I would have already been doing that (but not so much!) Any tips on great meal planning websites? I can cook decently, but I am by far not a chef!!!! I don't like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen (there's always more important things to do!) so I like quick (cheap) recipes.

Also, for those of you affliated with the military, if you didn't know:
www.militaryonesource.com offers free books. I didn't know a thing about this until I received our weekly MWR newletter (which I love! It tells you all about local events--within 1 hour of Lawton--that are cheap/free...typically they are great family events). This week she included MOS as the website of the week.

Helpful links

I'm having trouble finding gadgets for all of these (well, for most of these!) so I just decided to post the link here. Hopefully this will provide some assistance.

Military links

Non-grocery links

And the list goes on and on. All I'm waiting for is payday so we have the money to spend for the money to save!!! If you have more websites, let me know. I am planning on being all over this!!!

For Starters

I'm probably going to need some help with all this from my fellow bloggers. Typically my blogs are pointless and have nothing to do with anything except for me venting about this or that. However, this blog is going to serve a purpose. What purpose you may ask? Well....I want to save money, and I know I'm not the only one out there that feels this way.

I'm all over several different websites trying to pull up coupons and anything else that will assist me is achieving this goal. BUT, I'm going to need some killer feedback as this process gets rolling.
